M.Sc. in Mobile Robotics @ The University of Bonn
Currently, I am a master's student in Mobile Robotics at the University of Bonn.
I also work part-time as a student assistant at
Fraunhofer FKIE – Cognitive Mobile Systems (CMS).
Previously, I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in
Mechatronic Systems Engineering
at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Canada.
My honours thesis was in collaboration with
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) – Suffield Research Centre (SRC),
a government research organization specializing in defence research and innovation.
The focus of my work was establishing a sim-to-real pipeline with NVIDIA Issac Sim for future AI-robotics research.
Through my academic and research experience, I have developed a diverse skillset as a mechatronics student, making me both adaptable and an independent fast-learner
in a time where technology evolves rapidly across academia and industry.
For further details, please refer to my extended CV (updated December 2025).

Activities:
The Triple A Award in Mechatronics is an annual award to an undergraduate student in good academic standing in the Faculty of Applied Sciences at SFU Surrey who demonstrates leadership skills and/or service to the community.
Awarded to students who achieve a term grade point average (TGPA) of 3.50 or higher after completion of a minimum of 30 units at SFU, and a minimum of 12 units (which are counted towards the TGPA) in the term being evaluated.
Mechatronic Machining and Testing Centre (MMTC)
is a machine shop that offers cutting-edge equipment including a 3D printer, CNC milling machine, and
a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to produce functional prototypes of mechanical designs.
With the goal of teaching basic machining theory, Basics of Machine Tools offers hands-on machine shop training
to help students accomplish basic machining tasks and other machine shop practices for mechanical design, prototyping and
fabrication of the future projects.
Skills: Machining, Lathe, Milling, Hand Tools
Agritech 4.0 Bootcamp: Automation And Digital Technologies For Agriculture And Food Processing
is an initiative supported by the BC Centre for Agritech Innovation (BCCAI) that provides practical
training in emerging agricultural technologies to help make B.C.’s agricultural and food sector
more sustainable, resilient, and globally competitive.
During this intensive program, I gained first-hand experience in agriculture through a
blend of Robotics and Automation, the Industrial Internet of Things (I-IoT),
Precision Farming, and Data Analytics and AI.
I also had the opportunity to present my machine learning project, which I was developing
for a senior-year course at the time.
Skills: Precision Farming, Robotics, GIS, Sensors & Actuators, AI/ML, Industry 4.0
Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) focuses on hands-on professional training to help participants understand the underlying principles of complex mechatronic systems. I completed my training at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and passed the exam, demonstrating skills that I would not have learned or applied in class.
